Sports Bra

The breasts bounce. A direct and forceful introduction to an undeniable fact and sometimes not treated with enough importance. But it is like this; they move and they do it in a figure-eight movement, where the ligaments of the chest are stretched during sport.  If you don’t accompany this movement with the right sports bra, you can cause chafing, breast pain, sagging, loss of performance and discomfort. Therefore, the sports bra seems like magic: To make chafing disappear, improve your performance and turn doubts and discomfort into confidence. All you need is the right model and luckily it’s not as difficult as finding your ideal life partner.

A dazzling fact when you consider that 43.9% of all women in Germany are married and have supposedly found a partner for life. After all, maybe it’s easier to find the perfect match than the perfect sports bra? After reading this article, you might change your mind.

To choose the right sports bra with seamless underwear manufacturer, you need to consider two criteria: Your cup size and the impact level of your sport. Below we will explain what we mean by these criteria and at the end we will make an informed recommendation on the most suitable sports bra models for your individual needs.

The importance of each sport

When choosing a sports bra, the impact of sports on breast movement is of particular importance. Or in other words, you might ask yourself, “How much do my breasts bounce during sports?” We distinguish between the following levels: Light Impact, Medium Impact and High Impact.

Light impact sports are, for example, Yoga and Pilates. These are sports with little exposure, slow movements, and ideally no jumping. The breasts do not move as much and therefore only need little support. But this does not mean that you can skip a sports bra for these sports!

Even if you just go for a walk or do a round of yoga at home where no one will see you: it can still cause damage and loosening of connective tissue. And we’re sure you don’t do sports to get saggy breasts, so maybe you should wear the light sports bra more often.

Medium-impact sports include strength training and spinning. These sports are associated with faster movements and now also allow you to jump, but only sparingly and with a little bounce. Therefore, the sports bra must be able to compensate for more movement.

High-impact sports are running, soccer, tennis, boxing, or dance. Thus, any activity that causes a lot of movement in the breasts and therefore requires a high level of support.

Since you will most likely be playing more than one sport, and this means you will need different sports bras for different sports.

The size of sports bras

To find the perfect sports seamless bra set, you need to know your correct bra size. You cannot ignore these measurements, run for the tape measure.

  • Band“: Measure around your ribs just below your breasts. The ideal is to remain relaxed and exhale. So, don’t hold your breath and make this measurement wrong, because by doing so, you will only be fooling yourself! It is best to let both arms dangle while you measure. Of course, this is only possible if you have someone to help you. Otherwise, you can let one arm hang loosely while the other does the measuring.
  • Halter“: This refers to the distance from apex to apex over the neck. And yes, I can feel the question marks in your eyes practically across the internet; don’t worry, I didn’t have a clue what it meant at first either. Let’s go by parts: The apex is the most complete and prominent part of your breast. The largest circumference of the breast may be at the top or bottom of the breast; this varies from woman to woman. And now measure from the highest point of the right chest on the neck to the highest point of the left chest. And that’s it: this is your halter size.
